Recently a few of us who are hosted at TextDrive have gotten annoyed with the loss of Urchin, the program we'd all been using to keep track of our site statistics (things like how many people came to our sites each day, where people came in from, etc.). The story is long and frustrating, but it looks like Urchin's gone and never coming back. So we're setting out to build our very own site-statistics program, and it's going to be all kinds of cool.

But in order to get things right, we want to find out how people use their site statistics. So we've put together a short set of questions, and we'd love it if you'd take a few moments to fill in your answers and send them to us.

If there are any questions you'd rather not answer, just leave them blank. This survey does assume that you have your own site; if you don't you can still fill it out, but most of the questions probably won't apply to you ;). We aren't collecting any personally-identifiable information here, and we'll only use this data among the team that's developing the new stats application.
